A man has been charged with drink driving after a crash on Brading Road, at Beaper Shute near Westridge, on Wednesday night (May 11)
Hampshire Constabulary was called out just after 8pm, to a report of a 4x4 on its roof.
The main road between Ryde and Brading was closed after the incident, near Bartletts Green Farm. Buses were delayed.
Andrew Thomas Bruce, 26, of Fairfield Gardens, Lake, has been charged with driving a vehicle when alcohol level above limit and was bailed to appear at Isle of Wight Magistrates' Court on May 27.
