THE popular Rydabus event is back this weekend — complete with new park and ride options.

Rydabus is the chance to enjoy a trip on a vintage bus, organised by the Isle of Wight Bus and Coach Museum, and takes place on Saturday and Sunday.

Postponed twice due to Covid, plans have been revived and enhanced for 2022. New features include park and ride facilities at the Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary in Wroxall and Retro Staycations in Ashey.

What is the Isle of Wight's Rydabus event?

Vintage buses will operate special free services, linking the park and ride sites with the Bus Museum and other attractions.

Holders of the Rydabus programme, which includes full timetable information, will be able to claim special offers and discounts at more than 30 venues, simply by presenting their programme.

Travel is free but money is made through the purchase of the programme, and donations are welcome.

Doors open at 10am on both days.
