THIS year’s Isle of Wight Chamber Business Awards get underway at Cowes Yacht Haven tonight (Friday, May 6).

Sponsored by WightFibre, the ceremony will be hosted by award-winning comic magicians, Griffin and Jones.

In total, 39 Isle of Wight businesses have been nominated, and the awards submissions judged by a panel of 20 impartial experts.

Steven Holbrook, IW Chamber chief executive, said: "More than ever, our nominations reflect success across a really wide and diverse set of businesses.

"The standard of submissions this year was incredibly high, and it is fabulous to see so many businesses engaging with our awards, across all sectors.

“Although 2021 was a far from typical year, the way that the Island’s business community adapted — and in many cases thrived — has been remarkable."
