IT’S springtime and all around animals are being born, so the Isle of  Wight County Press Camera Club members have been out and about taking photos of a wide range of furry and feathered creatures.

The Isle of Wight is particularly famous for its red squirrels, but there is a wide range of waterfowl and other adorable birds and animals here.

Jane Chase caught several photos of a visiting amphibian, while we love Steve France’s inquisitive fox cub.

Mick Pelosi has also captured a lovely shot of a fox and Jane Holland did several pictures of a coot and chicks.

Egrets are becoming a more common sight and we love Moana Kane’s picture, while Shirley Anderson reports her robin is really very friendly.

The Isle of Wight County Press Camera Club has around 1,300 members. It is free to join and it's great fun if you like taking pictures of the island - or enjoying looking at other people's shots!
