"It's always a good sign when you turn up on a Friday night and people are queuing down the road for their fish and chips.

"Ordered a small fish and chips plus mushy peas, waited 15 mins, then realised we'd forgotten to order the dog a sausage, no problems as there was one on the hotplate ready to go!

"Sat in our car and scoffed the lot, oh my goodness it was gorgeous.

"The fish melted in the mouth, the batter was perfectly crispy with good old fashioned proper chips."

"Wow! Fantastic fish and chips and scampi and chips.

"Polite staff, excellent food, and the Irish curry sauce is delicious. Food is cooked to order but for the quality you don’t mind waiting.

"Very tasty fish and chips.

"We went for dinner. They were very dog friendly, which we liked. But if you don’t bring a dog don’t be put off. Friendly and efficient service, tasty fish and chips and nachos."

"The fish and chips we had from here were far superior to those we had paid a lot more for on the mainland at Mudeford before we came over to the IOW!

"Cooked to order, reasonably priced and not too greasy.

"Also half portion of fish available if you've a smaller appetite."
