A MAN has died, and three people have been arrested following a serious incident in Shanklin last night (Monday, April 25).
Police were called to St Johns Road at 10.11pm, where they found a man with serious injuries who was later pronounced dead.
Multiple police vehicles were on the scene, with dogs and crews from Isle of Wight Ambulance Service.
The ambulance service responded to the incident with two ambulances and a rapid response vehicle.
This was the scene on Tuesday morning, meanwhile, as a police cordon remained in force.
Air ambulance crews from South West Ambulance Service were also there.
Two women, aged 29 and 52, and a 36-year-old man, all from the Isle of Wight, have been arrested.
St Johns Road has been sealed off to the public by police and officers remain at the scene this morning, as enquiries to establish the circumstances of this incident are ongoing.
