TICKET to Ryde drew the crowds to the Esplanade on Easter Saturday and Sunday - and it will be back today (Saturday) and tomorrow (Sunday).

The events are free to enjoy over the Bank Holidays, thanks to the Jack Up Events team with the support of Ryde Town Council.

Ticket to Ryde is now in its eighth year, and for 2022 it is returning on each of the Bank Holiday weekends throughout Spring and Summer 2022, in addition to its usual slot at the end of August.

The event featured a ‘silver bullet’ American Airstream stage courtesy of Jack Up’s new glamping venture Retro Staycations.

This weekend, there will be local food and drink vendors including Island Ales, Route4Food (a kitchen inside an old Southern Vectis bus), Mirabilis Catering, Every Day I’m Wafflin’, Isle of Fudge, Funky Pineapple popcorn and candy floss.

Trade stalls open from 10am with live music from lunchtime.

Several of the Easter acts will make a return, with the additional of live music by The Henrys, an acoustic father and son duo with a big taste for vocal harmonies and the 60s. Expect songs by The Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, Everly Brothers and more.
