POLICE have sealed off part of a playing field in Newport this evening.
An incident at the site off Furrlongs, near Pan Community Hub and Barton Primary School, has been attended to by Hampshire Constabulary and the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service.
Neither service has issued any statement about the incident.

An investigation is underway with police still in attendance tonight, and a cordon erected to prevent members of the public car parking spaces, a path, and part of the field.
