Isle of Wight names are among the finalists and commendations in the 2021/22 Beautiful South Awards.

Tourism South East has revealed its 53 finalists and 13 businesses with commended certificates.

Among them are Island-based operators and attractions.

Finalists will learn whether they are celebrating a gold, silver, bronze award at an awards event in Brighton, on April 25.

Which Isle of Wight businesses could win a Beautiful South award?

Among those in the running are Wightlink, for the Ethical, Responsible and Sustainable Tourism award; Tom’s Eco Lodge at Tapnell Farm for Glamping Business of the Year; Hovertravel, for the Resilience and Innovation award; and East Afton Farmhouse, Yarmouth for Wedding Venue of the Year.

Ventnor's Haviland Cottage is commended in the Dog Friendly Business of the Year award category.
