A NEWPORT woman found guilty at trial of assaulting a hospital security guard has been sentenced.
Michelle Juliet Edlin, of High Street, appeared before Isle of Wight magistrates on Thursday, January 13.
The 50-year-old denied assault by beating of an emergency worker — namely a St Mary's Hospital security guard — but was found guilty at trial.
The caught heard Edlin assaulted the male worker on December 14, 2020.
Edlin was given a 12-month conditional discharge, and ordered to pay £50 compensation to her victim.
She was also ordered to pay costs of £650 and a £22 surcharge.
