FRESHWATER lifeboats could be spotted by eagle-eyed Islanders today (Sunday), but not all is as it seems.
Freshwater Independent Lifeboat has confirmed on Twitter that all three of its lifeboats will be heading out.
The charity’s regular operations often involve helping casualty vessels in need, performing recoveries from cliffs, searching for people or animals in distress, and providing safety overwatch from the water.
But stand down there’s no need to panic, as today, Freshwater Lifeboats are preparing for training.
You can watch the launch, and the training, by clicking here.
There are no days off for Freshwater Independent Lifeboat, which operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
