Cass and Grace

Isle of Wight County Press:

Breed: Domestic Shorthair crossbreed
Colour: Black / Tabby
Age: 0-3 months

These little sweeties are Cass (Black) and Grace (Tabby). They were born in the care of the RSPCA and are now ready to venture into the big world and find their forever home.

They are only babies so will need to spend the first few months indoors before they will be ready to explore the outside.

They are both friendly and very playful and love attention.

Cass has been part bottle fed so has experienced a small part of home life and can be quite confident and independent, Grace is a little needier and likes to be around people.

Poppy

Isle of Wight County Press:

Breed: Domestic Shorthair crossbreed
Colour: Torti
Age: Approximately 14 years

Meet poppy. When she first arrived at the shelter, she was very nervous and scared, however she's now started to build relationships with staff and has shown to be a really sweet loving girl once she gets to know you.

Poppy loves to be fussed and will paw at your hand for more head and chin scratches if you stop fussing her. Poppy definitely enjoys the finer comforts in life and loves her cosy beds and getting treats - her favourite is chicken.

She would benefit from an adult only home and a little garden she could have a potter about in.

Nala

Isle of Wight County Press:

Breed: Domestic Shorthair crossbreed
Colour: Torti
Age: Approximately 2 years

Meet little lady Nala. Sadly, she ended up at the centre due to her previous owners abandoning her.

Nala is a sweet and gentle girl who loves a fuss, she will approach staff and become a little love bug rolling around in front of you and giving you head boops.

She can be shy and quiet and has definitely struggled a little being in the cattery environment. Staff feel Nala will come out of her shell more and become more confident when she finds a home of her own.

Nala could possibly live with older sensible children who understand her preferences and that she can sometimes be a little worried. She would benefit from a family that are going to be around for a good part of the day.

Sky and Mowgli

Isle of Wight County Press:

Breed: Domestic Shorthair crossbreed
Colour: Black and white
Age: Approximately 2 years

This mother and daughter duo are looking for a new home they can go to together.

Sky is a gentle and affectionate soul who has so much love to give. Little Mowgli can be a bit worried by people and sticks by her mum’s side - he will need a little time and encouragement to come out of her shell.

They would benefit from having their own room for the first few days with lots of hiding places to help them feel more relaxed.

The pair would love a little garden they can potter about in and could possibly live with older, more sensible children pending introductions.

Matilda

Isle of Wight County Press:

Breed: Domestic Semi crossbreed
Colour: Torti
Age: Approximately 10 years

The lovely Matilda is looking for a new start in life.

Arriving at the centre as part of a trap neuter release for a colony of feral cats, Matilda was pregnant and has since successfully raised her four beautiful babies who have all now gone to loving homes.

Matilda quickly showed signs of affection towards staff which feral cats don't do, and everyone soon realised she is a sweet, loving and gentle girl who loves to be around people.

Ben

Isle of Wight County Press:

Breed: Domestic Shorthair crossbreed
Colour: Black
Age: Approximately 3 years

This gorgeous lad came into the centre due to members of the public being concerned for his welfare.

He is a shy boy who takes his time getting to know and trust people.

He likes a gentle fuss and chin scratch under his blanket but hasn't quite got the confidence to come out completely to staff.

With the right owner staff feel Ben would flourish and come out of his shell more and show off his little personality.

Because Ben is anxious, he would benefit being in an adult only home with no other pets.
