TWO Isle of Wight landmarks will light up orange tomorrow (Wednesday), for the final day of National Grief Awareness Week.

Appuldurcombe House in Wroxall and the Royal Yacht Squadron in Cowes will be lit up between 5.45pm and 8pm.

It is to support a campaign by The Good Grief Trust.

For those who would like to see the lights, Appuldurcombe car park will be open from 5.30pm to 6.30pm.

All are welcome to join the trust. From 5.45pm they will be joined by celebrant Jonathan Skeet, who will lead a minute's silence at 6pm to remember loved ones.

Take along a tealight and meet by the pond in front of the main building. Feel free to take a long a flask for a warm drink after.

In Cowes, by kind permission of the Commodore and the Flag Officers, the Royal Yacht Squadron will be lit up at the same time.

The lighting for both venues is kindly being supplied by NDLE Lighting.
