ACCORDING to the latest Public Health England data, more than 100 Covid cases have been confirmed for the Isle of Wight today.

Today, 118 Covid cases have been confirmed on the Island, after 145 cases yesterday.

These latest cases bring the Island’s cumulative total to 18,855 since the pandemic began.

The Island’s rolling rate, which is always five days behind, stands at 547.5, up from yesterday’s 541.1.

The UK average rolling rate stands at 457.6.           

The Island age group with the highest rolling rate is 10 – 14-year-olds at 1,481.1, staying roughly a similar figure since November 21.

Between Saturday, November 27 and Saturday, December 4 (yesterday), there were almost 800 confirmed cases of Covid-19 on the Island.
