Three people have died on the Isle of Wight after getting Covid-19.

One Islander died at home, in the week to October 29, according to data published today (Tuesday).

It is the thirteenth death in a private home since the start of the pandemic.

In all, 146 people have died in the community since the pandemic started, according to data which incorporates deaths outside a hostpial setting.

A further two people have died at St Mary's Hospital in Newport, according to today's figures.

One patient died on November 19, after contracting coronavirus and a second person died on November 20.

There have been 195 Covid-19 deaths on the wards since March 2020.
