THE Isle of Wight Federation of the Women's Institute is celebrating its centenary.

And to mark 100 years of WIs on the Isle of Wight, there will be an archive exhibition and flower festival at Newport Minster.

It will feature fabulous floral displays from members of the 30-plus WI groups on the Isle of Wight.

There will also be an archive exhibtion with fascinating photos and information about Isle of Wight WIs in days gone by.

The exhibition and festival is open to everyone and the public are welcome to visit on Wednesday (November 24), when it is open from noon until 4pm; or on Thursday between 10am and 1pm.

The exhibition is also open to the public next Friday and Saturday, from 10am to 4pm.

The archive exhibition and flower festival is the first in a series of events to celebrate the WI's centenary.
