A FURTHER 81 Covid cases have been confirmed on the Isle of Wight today, as the rolling rate continues to fall.

Data released by Public Health England shows that the Island’s rolling rate as 342.9, down from 357.0 yesterday.

The UK rolling rate is now 356.1

Today’s additional confirmed Covid cases brings the Island’s total cumulative cases, since the pandemic began, to 16,160.

The worst affected group remains 40 – 44-year-olds with a rolling rate of 390.1.

The percentage of all Islanders aged 12 and over who have been received their first Covid vaccination stands at 84.8 per cent, with 78.4 per cent received their second vaccination.
