Police are continuing their patrols of Parkhurst Forest in the wake of last month's dog poisonings.
The County Press reported in October that several dogs had been taken ill after eating poison-laced food at the Marks Corner end of the forest.
Police promised at the time to patrol the forest night and day in an effort to catch the poisoner.
Now, they have tweeted that the Cowes Neighbourhood Team are in the forest on patrol and urged walkers and other forest users to say hello.
