AN UPCOMING and hotly tipped Isle of Wight band is to appear on Later With Jools Holland this weekend.

Wet Leg, a two-piece featuring Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers, has released two quirky singles — Chaise Longue and Wet Dream. Chaise Longue has been watched on YouTube 1.4 million times.

Now they have announced arguably their biggest gig to date — a slot on the top BBC2 music show on Saturday night.

Jools is know for bringing together hot, legendary and undiscovered artists for live studio performances, interviews and musical magic.

Catch Wet Leg on the show at 9.55pm, along with Sting, Nubya Garcia, and Lola Young.
