IT'S been a busy 24-hours for Cowes RNLI, with the team attending three different incidents.
Last night (Friday), they were called following a social media report of a red flare sighting.
Together with Bembridge Coastguard Rescue Team, Cowes RNLI searched up river and into Osborne Bay.
A second callout the following morning saw them investigate a possible upturned vessel in the Western Solent.
The team found a large amount of solid vegetation, and vessels in the vicinity were warned.
Just after midday, Cowes RNLI then found themselves responding to a report of a dismasted yacht off Beaulieu River.
The team assisted in buoying and dropping the mast, and escorted the vessel for a period to make sure they were safe heading back to Hamble under their own power.
