PASSENGERS on board Red Funnel’s Hi-Speed service this afternoon (Tuesday) suffered delays in The Solent following an issue with the outer main engine.
County Press readers have said that the vessel, with passengers onboard, is awaiting a tugboat from Southampton following the issue.
The vessel, Red Jet 7, only returned to service yesterday morning (Monday) after lengthy repairs that saw a host of sailings cancelled whilst it was out of service.
The 13.35pm from Southampton and the 14.15pm from Cowes have been cancelled due to the mechanical fault.
Isle of Wight County Press has contacted Red Funnel for a statement.
