EMERGENCY service teams were called to Rookley late last night (Friday) — after a car crashed into a bank.
A driver was taken to hospital following a single-vehicle collision on Chequers Inn Road.
Police have confirmed one person has suffered minor injuries.
Among those called to the scene was a single fire crew from Shanklin, asked to provide scene safety and lighting.
Assistance from the Shanklin crew was requested at 10.02pm, and they stood down approximately 50 minutes later.
No one was trapped, and firefighters did not need to free anyone from the vehicle.
