EMERGENCY service teams were called to a crash on Fairlee Road in Newport this afternoon (Thursday).
County Press readers said police and ambulance teams were among those in attendance.
A single fire crew from Ryde was called to provide assistance to emergency crews at the scene.
No one was thought to be trapped, and a second fire crew from Cowes stood down en-route.
A spokesperson for Isle of Wight Police said: "At 4.36pm we were called to Fairlee Road, Newport, following reports of a collision involving a car and a motorbike.
“Injuries were reported to us.
“The road was closed, but it has now reopened.”
