A Top Mops manager has scooped a national prize at The British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) annual awards.

Held in Birmingham on Thursday, September 30, Top Mops’ relationship manager, Sarah Ford, won the award for Outstanding Candidate of the Year UK.

Island company Top Mops has been a corporate member since 2009, with all its basic training, and ethos mirroring that of BICSc codes of practice.

BICSc said: “This award reflects the achievement of an individual and their award of BICSc qualifications, with the main focus being on how the candidate has been able to achieve an award against adversity or has gone the extra mile to complete and receive the qualification within the workplace.”

BICSc work alongside the BCC (British Cleaning Council) and throughout the last year, as members, Top Mops has been allowed access the most up to date information in relation to Covid, cleaning and best practice.

Top Mops is currently in the process of getting its head office converted into a BICSc standing training suite, so it can offer better training and opportunities to staff.
