OLYMPIC gold medal winning sailor Sir Ben Ainslie will take part in a question and answer session when he hosts a lunch at Haseley Manor at an Isle of Wight Scouts fundraising event.

The historical home of Vivian and Anthony Roberts is the venue for the event, on Friday, October 22.

All money raised will be going to the Isle of Wight Scouts.

Those attending will be greeted with drinks at the house from 12 noon, with Ben’s Q&A from 12.30pm to 1pm, and a two-course lunch to follow.

Tickets are £40, with £35 of the ticket price going to the scouts, and there will be a cash bar and raffle.

“We do hope you will be able to support this very worthwhile cause to raise money for the Isle of Wight Scouts,” Mr Roberts said.

Tickets are available from roberts.haseley@gmail.com until October 17.
