ONE of the biggest Christmas tree selling sites on the Island — Shide Trees — will soon be open for business as normal at its traditional Newport site, following last year's move to Newchurch during the pandemic.
On its Facebook site, Shide Trees — part of the Thompson's Nursery Group — were delighted to back, selling its freshly-cut Christmas trees from its pop-up site on the Blackwater Road.
Last year, Shide Trees made a temporary switch to Thompson's Garden Centre in Newchurch during Covid-19.
The change was made because of the government's retail restrictions put in place at the time.
On Their Facebook page, Shide Trees say they do not yet have an exact opening date, but estimate it to be around November 25.
