New Covid hospital death
A person has died in hospital on the Isle of Wight after contracting Covid-19.
They are the 168th person to have died here since the start of the pandemic.
The death was recorded by the Isle of Wight NHS Trust on September 16.
A further 137 people have died in the community since March 2020, which includes care homes and private homes.
Meanwhile, four more cases of Covid-19 have been recorded.
