A FURTHER 26 new cases of coronavirus on the Isle of Wight have been recorded, pushing the total number since the start of the pandemic last year to precisely 11,048 — a rise of 298 since last Saturday's figures were released.
Public Health England's latest figures released today (Saturday) covers the seven days up to September 11.
The statistics reflect a marked slowing down in the increase in the rolling rate on the Isle of Wight, from 354.2 last Saturday to 267.8.
The Island figure has seen its gap with the UK rolling rate considerably bridged over the past seven days. The UK rate now stands at 322.1.
