DJ Alex Dyke's nostalgic show Bubblegum and Cheese is back on the air - this time on a Portsmouth-based not-for-profit radio station.

The presenter still hosts a night time show on BBC Radio Solent, but now the 59-year-old is also appearing on Hampshire-based Express FM, on Sundays, between 11am and 2pm.

Bubblegum and Cheese features feelgood hits from the 60s, 70s and 80s and promises "cheesy tunes and guilty pleasures from the golden era of rock and pop".

The show has also inspired live events, including at Shanklin Theatre.

Based at the University of Portsmouth, Express FM broadcasts via DAB, smart speaker, or via its website, as well as on 93.7 FM in Portsmouth and the surrounding area.

Alex Dyke is also a familiar face to fans of the nostalgia festival Jack Up The Summer and co-presents a podcast, called Stars, Cars, Guitars with rock guitarist Jim Cregan and former Spandau Ballet frontman Tony Hadley.
