Isle of Wight fire crews from Ryde, Sandown, Newport, Cowes, Freshwater and Ventnor are at the scene of a fire in Ashey.
A further four crews have been brought over from Hampshire, as the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service responds to the incident involving a tractor and barn.
The mainland teams will provide back up for the Island crews.
The emergency services are at Green Farm Lane on Ashey Road, where fire broke out at around 11.45am.
Ashey Road is closed, at its junction with Green Lane.

Hampshire Constabulary says the incident is not considered to be suspicious.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service says no-one has been hurt.
