SEAVIEW based entrepreneur, Monique Lucas, is turning heads on the Isle of Wight this summer with her stunning pop-up shop.

Monique, who created a fully sustainable, Island inspired homeware brand online, has a growing reputation as a talented young designer.

The self-titled summer shop, which Monique hopes will become a permanent fixture in the town, stocks a range of the brand’s kitchen wear, eye masks and bags among other items.

Monique said: “I have built my business online for the past two years and it seemed fitting to place a store in my home town of Seaview.

“It has been a big dream of mine to have a shopfront in Seaview where I have been coming since the age of eight.

“I would like to thank the local community for being so supportive.”

Monique starts by hand drawing her designs, which are then brought to life using organic materials and eco-friendly inks.

In the past she has partaken in several charity events, donating  to charities such as Blue Dot Generation and Project Zero.

She hopes to partner with more ocean and wildlife based charities as her brand expands, while simultaneously building a platform to engage and encourage others to do so.
