BINNEL Studios will be holding their popular Annual Summer Exhibition over the Bank Holiday weekend.

From August 28 to August 30, between 11am and 4pm, all are welcome to this St Lawrence event.

The artists have continued to be productive despite the difficult winter of lockdowns and there have been changes at the studios, so there is plenty for visitors to see.

The two painters and four potters have been joined by Jacob Light a contemporary wildlife artist whose meticulous pen drawings capture the essence of individual creatures.

Celia Wilkinson has moved into a larger, newly renovated, space. Her vibrant landscapes have been spotted and she has been invited to show at the Florence Biennale in October.

Amanda Wheeler has also moved into a bigger space and is working on her evocative coastal scenes to a larger scale than before.

Matthew Chambers' ceramic sculptures are in hot demand internationally and Jane Cox's striking ceramics catch the eye with their colour and design.

Fellow ceramicist Sue Paraskeva fulfilled her lifetime ambition and built a wood fired kiln. The flame and ash creating subtle beauty on porcelain.

Meanwhile, Molly Attrill is working on a series of maiolica plates following an age-old tradition of political satire in pottery decoration.

Up the road, an exhibition is also being held in The Bunker by artist Lisa Traxler
