MULTIPLE Coastguard teams were called to Sandown over concerns for a missing snorkeller yesterday evening (Saturday).
At 6.53pm, Ventnor Coastguard Rescue Team were tasked to Sandown Bay, joined by Sandown Lifeboat and Bembridge Coastguard Rescue Team.
Bembridge CRT said it responded following a 999 call from a very worried woman who had lost sight of her husband in the sea off Sandown.
The teams quickly arrived on scene and the lifeboat located the man safe and well.
He was reunited with his family on the shore.
