The sisters, who have previously played in the Big Top at the Isle of Wight Festival, have been touring the streets of England in recent months.

They are trying to "raise as much money and awareness as possible," in a bid to tackle climate change and the problems faced by the environment.

Since May, they have been posting pictures of their busking tour on social media and have already dropped in to Portsmouth's Gunwharf Quays and Brighton.

Raising money for five different environmental charities, they plan to keep busking until the UN Climate Change Conference in Glasgow, on November 1.

Catherine and Lizzy Ward Thomas have announced plans to be in Cowes at midday.

This week, a new UN report warned it is “unequivocal” that human activity is warming the planet, with the impacts of climate change already being felt around the world, PA reported.

Ward Thomas released their fourth album, Invitation, in October.
