EMERGENCY services were called to Shanklin last night (Saturday) after a vehicle was damaged, with a man hospitalised.
Police were called at 7.14pm by colleagues from the Isle of Wight Ambulance service reporting a concern for welfare in Clarence Gardens.
Officers attended and transported a man to hospital.
During the incident a car was damaged, although the exact cause of this has not been disclosed.
A spokesperson from Hampshire Constabulary confirmed nobody was arrested.
