PICTURES Landslide near Ventnor and Bonchurch
After a deluge of rain, there has been a small landslip between Ventnor and Bonchurch, at Wheelers Bay.
Part of the cliff has fallen onto a boat and tractor below.

Commercial lobster fisherman Mark Andrew, who was already battling the impact of Covid-19, told the County Press that he tried to pull the boat clear of the landslip, but chains holding it down were covered by the cliff fall.
Since then, a second slip has buried two boat engines.
It follows intense rain, which has sparked a flood alert on Ryde's Monktonmead Brook and a weather warning is in place for the rest of the day.
