FIREFIGHTERS were called to put out a scooter fire near Yarmouth this afternoon (Thursday).
At approximately 5pm, a single fire crew from Freshwater was called to the scene.
The team put out the fire and dampened down the surrounding area.
Hose reel jets and two breathing apparatus were used.
"Sadly, not much left of the scooter, but fire spread was prevented," said a spokesperson for Freshwater Fire Station.
