Met Office issues Amber warning for extreme heat for Isle of Wight
The Met Office has issued a heat warning for an area that includes the Isle of Wight.
It says hot weather is expected to continue until later this week and high temperatures are expected both by day and by night.
They will peak on Thursday, before temperatures fall on Friday.
On Sunday, the Isle of Wight felt temperatures of more than 34C, according to the Isle of Wight forecaster, IW Met Service.
