A COWES business has installed several new pieces of kit — Virus Killer units, to help make its premises as Covid-safe as possible.

A combination of an automated walk through temperature checker, and the installation of four Virus Killer units to remove airborne viruses, has been implemented at Cowes Town Central Shopping Arcade (CTCSA).

The added customer protection initiative by Steve Tewkesbury of CTCSA aims to create the safest possible shopping environment, now Covid restrictions have been eased.

With more than twelve speciality shops in a themed indoor shopping street, Cowes Town Central Shopping Arcade on the High Street is seeing greater footfall.

And while England’s lockdown legal restrictions have been loosened, government advice is to remain cautious when mixing in public.

Covid has been so disruptive to shopping ‘normality’, Cowes Town Central Shopping Arcade hopes to introduce a new normal to the enjoyable shopping experience.

Virus Killer Technology says it is the world’s most efficient air steriliser products, eliminating 99.9999 per cent of viruses, bacteria, and pollutants in a single air pass.

The technology focusses on killing airborne viruses and has been installed in more than 80 per cent of the hospitals and universities in South Korea, and in more than 1,500 dentists in the UK.

It pulls the air through the unit and controls the air flow so that its UV reactor cell has enough time to eradicate viruses and bacteria, creating a sterilised environment without any cross contamination.
