A WOMAN with a menagerie of animals is desperately seeking new accommodation — for herself and her long list of beloved pets.
Sarah Wheeler has to leave her current home and is struggling to find anywhere suitable — a search made more difficult than for most people due to her animals.
She has a cockatiel, an Amazon parrot, a cat, two diamond doves, a blue and gold macaw parrot, two guinea pigs and two dogs – a cojack and Staffordshire bull terrier.
In desperation she has left a series of posters attached to gates around the Island to try to find a new home after her eviction date of Wednesday, July 7.
She said: "I am hoping to find somewhere to live with adequate ventilation and electric at least. Water would be great also but if not then I can find a way of transporting water wherever I am.
"I only have a few weeks to move and this has come out of the blue."
If you or anyone you know can help Sarah, please contact her either on 07902 754360 or email her at sw47952@gmail.com
While Sarah's case is more unusual, the Island has many people currently looking for homes.
