There are delays on Red Funnel's vehicle ferries between East Cowes and Southampton this morning (Tuesday).

The 8.30am sailing from East Cowes is delayed by 30 minutes.

The 7am from Southampton was delayed by 20 minutes.

The firm is blaming 'operational reasons' and said: "We apologise for the inconvenience caused to your journey."

Last week, the firm announced a series of cancellations on the route, due to a mechanical fault and yesterday, some Red Jet sailings were cancelled.
