The male casualty has been taken to hospital.
POLICE and paramedics were called to Brading this afternoon (Saturday) after a man sustained a head injury.
At 3.20pm, police were called to the junction of New Road and Station Gardens.
New Road was closed from Yarbridge Cross while the man was assessed by paramedics.
He has been taken to hospital for treatment and the road is now reopen.
Officers remain at the scene.
