EMERGENCY service teams were called to Brading this evening (Thursday) following a single vehicle accident.
Arriving on the scene in Carpenter's Road, the ambulance service contacted the fire service to assist them in helping a man from the vehicle.
A spokesperson for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire Service said: "We recieved a call from the ambulance service at 9.29pm to a man trapped in his car following a single vehicle RTC.
"Fire crews from Newport and Shanklin assisted the man from the vehicle with one male and one female being assessed by the ambulance team."
The fire service left the scene at around 10.40pm.
