A RYDE man was arrested last night (Tuesday) on suspicion of making threats to kill and carrying a knife.
Police were called to Sandcroft Avenue at around 8pm, responding to reports of a disturbance in the street.
A man was alleged to be making threats.
Officers attended and a 29-year-old man from Ryde was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, threats to kill, and assault of an emergency worker.
He remains in custody at this time.
