NO new cases of Covid-19 have been recorded on the Isle of Wight today (Tuesday), according to the latest data.

Public Health England figures reveal just four new cases in the six days from Thursday.

Yesterday (Monday), one new case was recorded.

The total number of cases on the Island since the pandemic began in March, 2020, remains at 6,869.

The Island's rolling rate of cases for the seven days up to June 3 has dropped from 14.8 to 12.

The UK's rate is now 45.8, up from yesterday's 42.1, with 6,048 new cases recorded today.

Over-25s on the Island are being called forward to get their Covid-19 vaccination from today, the Health Secretary has announced.
