THE Isle of Wight Festival will have a longer title this year, with organisers announcing a new 'headline' sponsor for the event.

Logos on the official website and Facebook page have been changed to say 'Cinch presents the Isle of Wight Festival'.

Cinch is a company which describes itself as the faff free way to buy and sell cars.

A post on the festival's website said: "We’re thrilled to welcome Cinch as our new headline partner to put music and entertainment back at the heart of life.

"Cinch will be offering faff-free experiences, entertainment and more to make this summer’s festival even more special.

"What else would you expect from the people who take the faff out of finding and buying a used car online?"

The event is scheduled to take place between September 16 and 19, with Tom Jones, Liam Gallagher and Duran Duran among the headline acts.
