A cow was on the loose to the surprise of Island motorists this afternoon (Saturday).
MOTORISTS were not amoosed when a cow wandered around on a busy Isle of Wight road this afternoon (Saturday).
The animal, which escaped from a field, was seen close to the Racecourse Roundabout between Lushington Hill and Whippingham Road, at around 3.45pm.
The police were called, but a member of the public deserved a 'pat' on the back after he was able to usher the cow back into the field and secure it.
