A PENSIONER from the Isle of Wight has been charged with drink driving following multiple collisions with parked cars in Ryde last night (Friday).
Police were called to the incident on Marlborough Road at 11.36pm.
"A white Citroen van had collided with two parked cars, with a further two vehicles damaged as a result," said a Hampshire Contabulary spokesman.
Stephen Valentine Morris, 71, of Park Road, Ryde, was arrested and subsequently charged with drink driving.
He was released on conditional bail this morning (Saturday), to appear at the Isle of Wight Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
