EMERGENCY services were called to an address in East Cowes following a report of a man 'falling from height' last night (Friday).
The Isle of Wight Ambulance Service was called to Old Road.
They, in turn, called out the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service, who dispatched an appliance to the address at 8.56pm.
The casualty, a man aged 60, was taken to St Mary's Hospital in Newport.
The fire crew was called to assist paramedics in helping to transport the man into the waiting ambulance.
It is not known what injuries the man suffered.
The appliance returned to East Cowes Fire Station at 9.54pm.
