A THIRD man has been charged following an incident in Oak Vale, Ryde.

Officers investigating an incident in Oakfield, on May 3, have charged Cayliam Marley Sheen, 23, of Elm Grove, Newport, with affray and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.

Police were called just before 11pm to a disturbance in the street in Oak Vale involving a group of men.

It was alleged some members of the group were carrying weapons.

Mr Sheen has been remanded in custody to appear before Isle of Wight Magistrates' Court this morning.

As previously reported, Cameron Wayne Baker, 25, of no fixed abode, has been charged with affray, possession of an offensive weapon, possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, and possession of Class A drugs.

Connor Anthony Pattrick, 27, of High Street in Freshwater, has been charged with affray, possession of a weapon for the discharge of a noxious liquid/gas/electrical incapacitation device, possession of an offensive weapon, being a driver failing to provide a specimen for analysis, and possession of class A drugs.

All are currently in custody.
